They came and they left...

Sigh...so P & J came on Friday night, and they left tonight. What a short trip! What did we do?

1. Seafood dinner at Jumbo in East Coast Park
Highlights:
Seeing P eating Chilli crab with her hands and trying to crack the crab claw the wrong way at first
Seeing J actually trying some seafood
Seeing both P & J for the first time in 2.5 years??

2. Clarke Quay (Brewerkz)
Highlights:
Ordering samplers for all 12 types of beers at Brewerkz and trying them
Knowing that only five of them are drinkable and P likes the yucky fruity one

3. Clarke Quay (Shiraz - Shisha bar)
Highlights:
Mango margarita with super salty salt
Catching up with P & J
Belly dancer

4. Suntec City
Highlights:
Views from my office
Shanghai dumplings at Crystal Jade Kitchen

5. Sim Lim Square
Highlights:
Hard to think of one but J did get his mobile phone quotes and they were lower than Australia

6. Mustafa
Highlights:
P going crazy over bangles, bracelets, pearls, etc.
J's look when P when crazy

7. Raffles Hotel Long Bar
Highlights:
Singapore Slings of course!
Throwing peanut shells at P&J

8. Boon Tong Kee Balestier
Highlights:
J eating every piece of chicken breast on the plate (TWICE)
Herbal Chicken Soup

9. My rooftop
Highlights:
Watching the National Day fireworks
Clearing my wine stocks
Catching up with P & J

10. Rochor Bean Curd House
Highlights:
Watching P & J try their very first soya bean curd (and liking it)
Watching P & J try grass jelly (don't think they liked it?)

11. Geylang Lorongs 8-16
Highlights:
Err...not really any highlights but P asked to see!

12. Geylang Lorong 11 fruit stall
Highlights:
Seeing P game enough to eat durian and liking it enough to eat a few more
Seeing J's nose wrinkle up and then attempt to make some lame excuse about not liking fruits ;-)

13. Marina Food Loft/Court
Highlights:
My chicken curry noodles (yum)

14. Sim Lim Square
Highlights:
J bought his phone! ('nuff said)

And then it was time to go to the airport..... :-(
